ARPRO® is a unique (simultaneously porous) closed cell bead foam that features air pockets, or voids, within the hollow cylinder-shaped bead structure; these extra voids increase the number of air pockets, which enhance acoustic performance.

ARPRO® Porous is highly durable and resists multiple impacts without damage. Unlike many other acoustic materials, ARPRO® Porous is not fibrous, discharges no particles when abraded, and semi-structural.

Automotive engineers benefit from ARPRO® Porous in key applications to reduce noise, vibration and harshness (NVH), with tests showing noise reduction levels of up to ten times that of alternative materials. ARPRO® Porous is used extensively in car interiors to reduce noise levels without increasing weight.
