When developing the HOT WATER STATION 3.0, the company needed a reliable housing solution that could meet demanding mechanical and safety requirements while remaining efficient, sustainable, and precise.

Problem

The HOT WATER STATION 3.0. required a high-quality EPP housing capable of handling a complex and compact design. The housing had to provide excellent mechanical strength and insulation while meeting the strict flammability standards of UL 94 HBF. Moreover, it needed to withstand an advanced molding process, including the over-molding of metal inserts.

Solution

iDM Energiesysteme GmbH partnered with molding specialist HIRSCH Porozell GmbH to deliver a full-engineered solution using ARPRO 4133. This high-performance EPP material combines structural performance, thermal efficiency, and flame-retardant properties to meet the project's technical requirements.
