ARPRO Recycled

Certified Recycled ARPRO Grades

To support the circular economy and reduce plastic waste, JSP developed ARPRO Recycled grades made from post-consumer expanded polypropylene (EPP). We were the first to launch commercial recycled EPP grades, introducing our first recycled grade in 2010. Since then, close partnerships with key industry players have enabled us to expand and optimise our recycled portfolio for a wide range of applications. We offer three categories of ARPRO Recycled grades, each designed to meet specific application and performance needs.

    ARPRO Recycled – 30% Post-Consumer Content

ARPRO Recycled contains 30% post-consumer recycled EPP and retains the same mechanical and thermal performance as virgin ARPRO grades. Thanks to its significantly lower carbon footprint, it helps OEMs meet their environmental targets without compromising on quality.

  • ARPRO 35 Ocean beads

ARPRO 35 Ocean – 15% Marine Waste Content

ARPRO 35 Ocean, made with 15% recycled maritime waste such as discarded fishing nets and ropes, was developed to address the growing issue of ocean plastic pollution. It offers comparable properties to virgin grades and is particularly suited for use in consumer goods.

  • A black EPP part made from ARPRO REvolution

    ARPRO REvolution – 90% Post-Consumer Content

ARPRO REvolution includes up to 90% post-consumer recycled content, providing the highest level of recycled input across the portfolio. While it is not intended for highly technical applications, it is a strong choice for packaging, leisure, and furniture sectors where carbon reduction is a key priority.

RecyClass Certification

All ARPRO Recycled grades are independently certified by RecyClass, a recognised third-party certification scheme operating in the EU. The RecyClass Recycled Plastic Traceability Certification focuses on the traceability of recycled plastics within a process and the verification of a given percentage of recycled plastic content in products.

The RecyClass certification, held by JSP EMEA, allows us to claim the use of post-consumer recycled plastics in ARPRO Recycled products.

With upcoming EU regulations calling for clear and consistent recyclability and recycled content claims, the RecyClass certificate provides a reliable foundation for sustainable product development.
